Denis Masinovic

With roots in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a childhood spent in Dubuque, Denis brings a unique blend of cultural insight and local experience to the Multicultural Family Center. As a Bosnian American and Muslim, Denis is passionate about representation, cultural understanding, and strengthening community ties through fostering authentic connections by creating a welcoming presence that makes people feel at home. He has previous experience working with at-risk populations specifically in vocational rehabilitation. Denis is completing a Bachelor of Social Work at Clarke University and plans to pursue a Masters in Social Work.
