Taste of the World

Our 3rd annual Taste of the World Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 11:30am-2pm at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque. We anticipate hosting food booths, activity booths and performances by individuals representing over 25 countries living right here in the Dubuque community. Cost to attend is $5/person or $15/family.

If you are interested in hosting a food or activity booth, performing, making a financial donation or volunteering at this event, please e-mail info@mfcdbq.org or call the MFC at (563)582-3681. In 2010, the event was held on March 6th at Prescott school from 10am-4pm. We had 18 food booths, 7 activities booths and 8 sets of performers at the event. Over 800 individuals attended our first annual fundraiser and 175 volunteers helped to make the day possible.

In 2011, the event was held on March 19th at Five Flags and we had over 1,100 people attend. We had 24 food booths, 3 activities for children and numerous performers including a cultural fashion show. Thank you to everyone who attended, the 200 volunteers that helped make the event possible and the donors who made the event free to the public.
