We will have six super fun summer camps at the MFC during June and July! Some of your old favorites will be back (Photography, Cheerleading, Spanish & Hip Hop) AND we'll be offering two different levels of Readers Theater! Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up today! Registration forms are available at the MFC, or you can print them from this website.
Due to limited space, youth may only register for one summer camp. Participants can be placed on a waiting list for additional camps.
This month's SPICE night will be Thursday, May 21 from 5:30-7pm and will feature the African country of Morocco! Join community member Zeineb Keister to learn a bit about Morocco... we'll be eating a baked tagine of lamb with quinces, figs and honey. Delicious! Pre-registration is required and space is limited for this free program.
Join Basile Catoméris at the MFC for this free yoga presenation! Monday, May 18th, 12pm-1pm. Basile will be leading the group through a sequence of yoga postures and sharing the deep wisdom and style of his teacher, Sri Shyam Sundar Goswami, a renowned yoga master and one of the pioneers of contemporary yoga! Hosted by Fly-By-Night Productions the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of March, April and May from 6:15-8pm. Together we will read aloud 3 differnt adult plays by African-American playwrights, one each month and discuss them. No pre-registration necessary. Join us!!
