Adult only event. Join MFC board members, staff and friends as we gather to celebration Black History Month! Inspire Café is a new coffee, tea and wine bar; Lite bites will be provided and other food and beverages will be available for purchase.
This event will feature host and entertainer Gregory James! There will also be a presentation by Ernest Jackson, and Garrick Johnson will lead a Hip Hop dance! We hope to see you there!
Hosted by Fly-By-Night Productions the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of March, April and May from 6:15-8pm. Together we will read aloud 3 differnt adult plays by African-American playwrights, one each month and discuss them. No pre-registration necessary. Join us!!

Future Talk is an 8-week summer program which connects teens ages 13-17 with nature and the community through work, education and service. Participants have the opportunity to earn up to $1,000 over the course of the summer. Pick up an application at the MFC or see the link below. Application deadline is March 15. Participation in Road to Success requred.

Do you need help with homework and studying? The MFC can pair you with an experienced and qualified tutor! Our tutors can help in a variety of subjects, including ELL, Spanish & Mandarin! Fill out a "student request for tutor" form (located on the "youth programs" page of this website), return it to the MFC, and we'll find you a match! This free program is for students in grades 1st-12th. Students typically meet with their tutors for one hour, once each week.
